Event Results:

I was blessed to teach over 80 seminary students for the week on biblical leading and following. I also had the opportunity to preach in two churches and speak to over 50 pastors in the area. The Brazillian people are warm and inviting and desirous to hear the gospel and to learn. I just received an invitation to return in November of 2009 to teach once again at the seminary. I am praying and trusting that the Lord will allow me to go.  Your participation in this ministry touches the lives of many around the world. Thank you for your faithful support.

Brazil 2008

September 12-24, 2008, I will be in Vitoria, Brazil teaching leadership principles to up to 20 Brazilian ministers at Cetebes (Centro de Educacao Teologica Batista do ES).

Macedonia Baptist Church Homecoming and Revival

August 10 - 13, 2008

We had a wonderful response at Macedonia. Several people responded to the messages for recommitment of their relationship with Christ and for prayer. We had a full house each evening and the music was wonderful. Please continue to pray the Lord will add additional fruit in the weeks ahead because of the Word preached.

Services will be held Sunday at 9:45 AM and then each evening at 7:00 P.M.

DIRECTIONS FROM ATLANTA:

Come south on I-85 to the Newnan exit #47. Turn right at the bottom of the
exit on Hwy 34. Go to the second traffic light and turn right on the 34
Bypass (Farmer Industrial Blvd.). Cross Hwy. 29, then turn right onto Hwy.
70 (Roscoe Rd.). Stay on 70 for several miles. The church is just past the
intersection of Hwy. 70 with Macedonia Rd. on the left and Buddy West Rd. on
the right. Take the first left past this intersection (Joel Sanders Rd.),
and it will take you right up to the church.

Christian Sportsmen's Fellowship

August 22-23, 2008

What a blessing it was to speak to those in attendance at the CSF national leadership training event. I spoke on followership in the morning and forgiveness in the evening. Many responded with comments and questions regarding how they might increse their "following" of the Lord. Please continue to pray for the founder of CSF, Richard Jordan, as they seek to impact thousands of sportsmen for the gospel.

Dr. Ricketson will be speaking to CSF Members and their guests from around the nation for the annual the CSF Leadership Training on August 22-23, 2008 at the Atlanta Airport Marriott.  The topic is "Followership". The weekend includes Training Notebook, and a Fun Clay Target Shoot and lunch on Saturday.
