Our trip to Israel covered eight days of sites. These are a few highlights.

We began our journey traveling from Tel Aviv to Caesarea by the Sea. King Herod the Great’s city on the Mediterranean Sea which served as the provincial capital of the land of Israel during the time of Christ.

We then went to Mount Carmel, the sight of the battle between Elijah and the prophets of Baal. From that vantage point you look out over the Jezreel Valley. This is the site of the battle of Armageddon.

4

We drove to Nazareth at a site just outside of town and stood on hills where our Lord Jesus surely must have played as a child.

5

We spent the night in the city of Tiberius on the Sea of Galilee. Next morning we set sail in a wooden boat across the sea to the northern shore, headed toward Capernaum.

While in Capernaum we saw several mill stones which the Lord referenced should be hung around the neck of those who offend little children

Our journeys took us to the northern Galilee area of Dan where the Dan River flows with two other rivers to form the upper Jordan River.
